Mission
The beginning of the 21st century has shown how unprepared we are to respond effectively to threats caused by:
- wars in the vicinity of our national territory or in the European Union
- natural disasters such as floods and hurricanes and, on a larger scale, the negative changes in our climate
- epidemics of serious diseases
- violent migration phenomena
- unauthorised hostile acts by third parties against the economy and administration of our country and the European Union are perceived as internal and external threats.
Therefore, as founders of the FBC, we have undertaken the mission of promoting solutions that protect the population of our country from threats, as well as promoting good practices that allow for continuous monitoring of threats in order to minimise or prevent them. We popularise and support new areas and forms of cooperation between the Baltic countries that strengthen our common resilience and security.
These activities focus primarily on the security and resilience of societies, utilising the latest scientific and technological advances.
